Michelle Taylor is an associate attorney with the firm. She handles divorces, modifications, DFCS cases, paternity suits, and legitimations. She also has experience and is able to handle TPO filing and Defense. She has previously spent time in the Juvenile Courts in Georgia representing parents and children as a Guardian ad Litem.
Michelle Taylor went to Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana where she earned her bachelor’s in philosophy and women’s studies. After which she worked as a Social Worker assisting families and children with mental health recommendations from the state. After relocating to Atlanta, she graduated from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Between law school and passing the bar she worked at a Domestic violence shelter in Valdez, Alaska. She passed the Georgia bar and was sworn in December of 2016. Prior to joining the Atlanta Family Law Group, she worked in the metro area for six years including attending motions hearing, conducting jury trials, finals hearings, mediations, drafting and exchanging settlement negotiations.
When Michelle is not fighting for client’s rights, she is often found hiking with her dog or at the studio practicing her skills as an aerialist. She also enjoys reading and writing short stories.
