CATRIC HELLEN
Catrice Hellen is a dedicated associate attorney at Atlanta Family Law Group. With a practice focused on divorce, modifications, Department of Children and Family Services matters, paternity cases, and legitimation actions, she approaches each case with empathy, preparedness, and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for her clients. Catrice also brings valuable experience in criminal defense, having represented indigent defendants in Fulton County’s State Courts.
Catrice earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a minor in History, from the University of Georgia. She continued her legal education at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Following law school, she served as an Assistant Public Defender in both Clayton and Fulton Counties, gaining extensive experience in motions hearings, jury trials, felony preliminary hearings, and negotiation. Before joining Atlanta Family Law Group, Catrice honed her litigation skills while practicing in the metro Atlanta area.
Outside of the courtroom, Catrice enjoys recharging through creative pursuits and quality time with her pets. She can often be found painting vibrant oil landscapes, taking long walks with her dogs, listening to audiobooks, or attending live music festivals.
